School House Rocks - May,22 2012

First aboard the Train was Cueball with a wicked freestyle. Sensually sliding up next was Lily Penhall reading the tittle piece from her book. Spinning around in his chair was Jeff "Something like a pimp" who worked the crowd with an acoustic set comparable to B.B.King.

First timer Luther wasn't shy and told us about the "Compromise". It had been a long time for Kurt Porter but he told us I Don't Miss You Anymore". Boarding next with over 1600 Open Mic was 'Happy Ronezee' who is always "Terribly Happy".

The feature started out with songstress Raelee sharing "Pour Me Down" and "Now You Know". The School House was rocking even harder when rap duo Phantom worked the stage with a dramatic set including the crowd pleasing "Cali Girl".

With confessions of being a little nervous to outright grabbing the mic and letting go; these artists here at Train of Thought came to express themselves via rhyme, rap, love song or comedy. Join us next time for a different ride on the Train.
